ContinueOn March 12, 2025, the Responsible Online Commerce Coalition (ROCC) joined nearly 50 U.S. businesses, investors, and trade associations in support of the European Union’s Digital Markets Act (DMA). The letter calls on the Trump Administration to recognize the DMA as potentially beneficial to U.S. innovation and economic growth. The DMA is a “pro-competition framework [that] aligns with core American antitrust principles by decentralizing market power and opening doors for entrepreneurship,” said the business signatories.
ROCC supports the DMA and similar pro-competition legislation in the U.S. and other jurisdictions as key steps towards ensuring a level playing field in digital markets, where businesses that offer the best products and services can grow and prosper.
